One Jonesboro Showing Up for Our City
There’s nothing like coming together as a community—and Trash Wars in the City of Jonesboro did just that.
This event was filled with energy, pride, and purpose. From start to finish, we saw incredible participation from residents, families, youth leaders, and volunteers who all came out with one shared goal: to keep Jonesboro clean and beautiful.
A Day of Action
My team and I had the opportunity to roll up our sleeves and get to work, focusing our efforts along North McDonough and Stockbridge Road. As we worked, we not only cleaned up our streets, but we also connected with members of the community who share the same passion for beautification.
We were especially proud to work alongside the Beautification Team, which I am honored to be a part of, led by Chief Code Enforcement Officer Derry Walker. The level of organization, leadership, and execution put into this event was outstanding.
Chief Walker did a phenomenal job bringing this vision to life for our city.
Community at Its Best
What made Trash Wars so special wasn’t just the number of bags collected—it was the people.
We saw neighbors working side by side.
Families teaching their children the value of taking care of their environment.
And volunteers showing up with pride, ready to make a difference.
This is what One Jonesboro looks like.
Celebrating Our Winners
A big congratulations goes out to the Jonesboro Youth City Government (JYCG) for taking home first place by collecting the most bags of trash.
Their leadership, energy, and commitment to service are truly inspiring. They didn’t just participate—they led by example.
Our youth continue to show us that the future of Jonesboro is in great hands.
A Strong Start to Spring
What better way to welcome the season than by cleaning up and pouring back into our community?
Trash Wars was more than just an event—it was a reminder that when we come together, we can create real, visible change.
Thank You, Jonesboro
To every volunteer who came out—thank you.
Thank you for your time.
Thank you for your effort.
And thank you for your commitment to making our city a better place for all of us.
This was an amazing opportunity for our community—and we’re just getting started.
Forward with Fox. One Jonesboro.
